I am a curator and educator working with museums and heritage sites in the UK and beyond to make their collections and programming more inclusive, with a strong focus on feminist and LGBTQI narratives. My work includes consulting, collections research and engagement, curating exhibitions, workshops, talks and tours…and drag performance.
My interesting in uncovering new women-led and LGBTQ+ themes has led me towards researching arms & armour and military history from queer and feminist perspectives. Recently, I have been exploring the legacies of women with swords throughout history, art and culture.
After a few exciting years in public programming, I am looking for new curatorial opportunities and projects within the arts & heritage sector. Recently, I have been expanding my educational and research work towards digital formats, via video and audio.
